Synopsis
In a world destabilized by the Moon's weakening gravity, the domed society formerly named The Fortress clings to order through routine, hierarchy, and surveillance. But when a research vessel vanishes in the Forbidden Territory, three strangers, each carrying their own quiet battles, feel the shift ripple through their lives and find themselves drawn into its gravity.
Rune Locke, a Third Year Private who's never been allowed to deploy, sees a chance to finally matter. Captain Danielle Keyes, a seasoned officer and mother, is trying to hold her family together while duty keeps pulling her away. Rafael Lugo, a man who walked away from chaos and has no intention of returning to it, finds his quiet life beginning to tilt again.
None of them know what happened out at sea. None of them know this mission is different. None of them know each other.
But all of them are about to step toward the same truth... one that began long before they arrived, and one the world has already tried to bury.
As tensions rise and the cracks in The Fortress widen, the lines between loyalty, truth, and survival begin to blur. Each of them will be forced to confront what they believe about the world, about the people they serve beside, and about themselves.
