About Oversyte


Oversyte is a North Carolina-based portrait artist specializing in pencil portraits, live cartoon-style drawings, and white gel pen drawings on black backgrounds. Based in Spring Lake and Fayetteville, Oversyte creates expressive, detail-driven art for individuals, pop-ups, and community events, capturing people in real time with a style that's both bold and personal.


Oversyte has been drawing on and off since childhood, but the work took a major leap forward during quarantine 2020, creating back-to-back TikTok request portraits that sharpened speed, consistency, and likeness. That momentum carried into live work, including regular cartoon-style drawings at local bars, which led to invitations to draw at local community events.
