Oversyte is an independent artist and storyteller creating original fiction stories, pencil portrait art, and lyrical spoken word with a long-term vision for youth creativity and community impact.

At the core, Oversyte is about expression. He builds creative work from real experience, struggle, reflection, faith, and growth.

Oversyte is not built on the image of perfect discipline. It is built on the reality of mistakes, pressure, accountability, and the ongoing choice to pursue the best version of ourselves. The work explores identity, resilience, morality, internal conflict, and the unseen battles people carry.

Rather than pretending life was always disciplined or clear, Oversyte focuses on what it means to face yourself honestly and turn that experience into meaning.

Through writing, storytelling, music, and visual art, Oversyte creates from the tension between perception and truth, light and darkness, faith and doubt, survival and becoming.

Artist & Independent Creator

Oversyte creates across multiple forms:

Author - original fiction, character-driven stories, and creative world building.

Lyricist - rap, spoken word, and written pieces shaped by rhythm, emotion, faith, and reflection.

Illustrator - pencil portraits, live cartoon-style drawings, white gel pen artwork, and visual storytelling.

Oversyte has been drawing on and off since childhood, but the work took a major leap forward during quarantine in 2020 through back-to-back TikTok request portraits. That season sharpened speed, consistency, likeness, and confidence.

That momentum later carried into live work, including cartoon-style drawings at local bars, which led to opportunities to draw at local community events.
